On Saturday, November 23rd, Bethel Heights will be sampling nine wines from the 2015 Cellar Crawl Collection.
In 1997, the Cellar Crawl was founded by a group of friends from six of Oregon’s premier wineries: Ken Wright of Ken Wright Cellars, Mike Etzel of Beaux Frere, Ted Casteel (succeeded by Ben Casteel in 2006) of Bethel Heights Vineyard, Steve Doerner of Cristom Vineyards, Lynn Penner-Ash of Penner-Ash Wine Cellars, and Laurent
Montalieu of Solena Estate.
Out of curiosity, and a passion for Pinot noir, this community collaborated and shared the same question: “Which has the greatest impact, the land or the hand”? To find out the answer to this question, and taste this unique collection of limited quantity wines, please join us for one of three time slots to taste half of The Cellar Crawl collection.
Pricing is $40/person and each wine is paired with bites from the Bethel Heights kitchen
Celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family at Bethel Heights :
Friday, November 29th through Sunday, December 1st – 11am – 5pm
Tired of Thanksgiving leftovers and ready to get out of the house, join us post-Thanksgiving for the release of the 2017 Legacy Block Pinot noirs: West Block, Flat Block and Southeast Block.
The Legacy block wines are from the first grape vines planted at Bethel Heights between 1977 and 1979, some of the last own-rooted Pinot noir vines surviving in the Willamette Valley. Since the early 1990’s wines from these three blocks have been bottled separately as distinctive expressions of the terroir of Bethel Heights.
Come experience why Winemaker, Ben Casteel refers to the 2017 vintage as the “best natural balance from a warm vintage since 2012” and discover the beauty of old vine Pinots.
$20 entry fee, 2 complimentary flights for members of our Cellar Club and our wine industry friends – small bites provided by the Bethel Heights’ Kitchen.
