'08 Pinot Noir Carter Vineyard

Aromas of black cherry, black pepper and currant give way to rose oil and framboise as the wine opens up.  The palate reveals deep cherry and raspberry tones, balanced acidity and a firm core of fine-grained tannins.  This wine has excellent structure and will age gracefully for many years.

The 2008 Vintage
“Summer temperatures were so cool in Oregon in 2008 that Pinot Noir producers worried that they would never get their grapes ripe.
