Winemaker at Bethel Heights since our first vintage in 1984, Terry has always sought to capture in wine the synergy between pinot noir and our estate vineyard. "I look for a transparency in our winemaking that allows the character of the site to show through". 

Ted is a recognized innovator in rigorous crop control and intensive canopy management practices for wine quality, and a leader in developing standards for sustainable viticulture embodied in Oregon's LIVE certification program since 1997.

Marilyn combines her CFO function with development of our nascent international markets and the northwest sales effort, besides creating memorable meals for special occasions at the winery and recipes to match with Bethel Heights wines.

As a founder of Oregon Pinot Camp and former Executive Director of the International Pinot Noir Celebration, Pat has built the marketing program for Bethel Heights around the collaborative model that has worked for Oregon wines from the beginning.

After college and a season working in Burgundy, Ben spent five years at Rex Hill Vineyards, working his way up from cellar rat to Assistant Winemaker. In 2005 he finally came back to Bethel Heights to make wine with his father, and in 2006 Terry retired and Ben became our Winemaker.

With a background in horticulture and forest ecology, and a strong commitment to environmentalism, Mimi is now working with Ted to learn everything he knows about viticulture, while taking over business management as well.

Living in Chicago, Jessie is the face behind info@bethelheights.com. She has been our web designer and webmaster since 2002, and represents Bethel Heights at wine dinners and trade tastings in Chicago and points east.

Barbara Dudley, sister of Pat, has been a partner in Bethel Heights Vineyard since the beginning. Although not involved in the day-to-day operations, as Chair of our Board of Directors and official Ideologue, she brings a helpful outside perspective to our big-picture deliberations about the family business and the family farm.

Kate started working part-time in the tasting room at Bethel Heights in 1996 when it was still just a small space above the fermentation room with a hand-written receipt book, and she has been with us ever since.

Keri joined us as Bookkeeper in 2008, but we have known her since school days in Amity where she was in the same class as Jon Casteel, and a math whiz even then. Her quiet demeanor and sweet disposition conceal a brain that moves with the speed of light.

Javier started working in the vineyard at Bethel Heights in 1988. His natural leadership abilities combined with a thorough practical understanding of viticulture have made him indispensable as an organizer and instructor of our vineyard crew.
