Pat Dudley is President and Marketing Director of Bethel Heights Vineyard. As one of the four founding family members who have operated Bethel Heights since 1978, Pat left behind an academic career in medieval history to focus on promoting and marketing Bethel Heights estate grown wines, deliberately building on the collaborative model that has established international recognition for the Willamette Valley as the home of New World Pinot Noir.
Pat served as Executive Director of the International Pinot Noir Celebration for five years (1992-1996), then went on to become one of the founders of Oregon Pinot Camp, serving on the Board of Directors from 2000 through 2009. She has also served on the Oregon Wine Board and the Oregon State Board of Agriculture, with a particular interest in forwarding the cause of farmland preservation and sustainable agriculture in Oregon.
Pat currently (2014) serves on the Willamette Valley Wineries Association Board, as we plan the celebration of the FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY of the first planting of Pinot noir in the Willamette Valley in 2015.
